The Stuff Life is Made Of

The Stuff You Should Know About Travel

Episode Summary

Guest today! It’s Natalie Perry, a good friend of ours who has recently returned from a trip to Africa. Travel. It sounds like just a vacation, but it’s all about deliberately choosing life experiences and using them to grow personally. God uses travel. Yes! He uses it to save us, to create spiritual learning experiences, and to lead us to blessings and opportunities that help us fulfill our earthly missions. You can travel without leaving your own home. You can do very simple things that costs very little to create movement in your life, your emotions, your spiritual growth, and in your psychological progression. All you have to ask yourself are questions like, “How do I want to grow? How do I want my family to grow? What ways does God want me to grow? Is there a better place for me to grow closer to my family and to God?” "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." ~Mark Twain Buying Time - Not Things - Will Make You Happy, Study Says (https://news.ubc.ca/2017/07/24/using-money-to-buy-time-linked-to-increased-happiness/)
